A familiar face could soon be returning to English shores. Luke Moore could be set for a move to Championship side, Nottingham Forest.

The Nottingham Post report how Luke Moore could be on his way to Nottingham Forest. Moore came through Villa’s youth system in 2003 and made 87 appearances while scoring 14 times before leaving in 2008 for local rivals, West Bromwich Albion.

His most recent spell was in the MLS with Toronto and Chiva USA could be set to sign a deal at Forest with Dougie Freeman’s side in search of a striker.

He will perhaps most be remembered for a special hat-trick against Middlesborough in 2005, and a last minute winner vs Manchester City for Swansea in 2012.

After leaving The Swans in 2013, he made a move to Turkey where he played 17 times before leaving in January 2014 for the MLS.

Forest are currently under a transfer embargo but can bring in free agents.
