Crawley Town has signed Brighton and Hove Albion defender Tom Dallison on a 30-day loan, the club has confirmed.
20-year-old Dallison spent a period of time on loan to Braintree Town earlier this season, where he made four appearances. The former Arsenal youngster has found most of his football in Brighton’s U21 side, getting 12 appearances in the U21PL this season. Dallison is yet to make his senior debut for the seagulls.
Dallison’s only senior football experience is in the National League, having played for both Dartford and Braintree Town respectively. He has faced Crawley before, having been a member of the Brighton side that beat the Reds 0-3 in pre-season.
Crawley manager Mark Yates spoke to the media about his new signing. He stated how happy he is to bring Dallison in, and how the move can be mutually beneficial for Dallison and Crawley
I’ve seen Tom a few times and been impressed. I think he’s got all the attributes to be a good central defender and this is the next step up for him having had a taste of senior football in the National League. I’d like to thank Chris Hughton and (Brighton U-21 manager) Simon Rusk for agreeing to let us have him.
Dallison will wear number three, and is available to play in Crawley’s next game against Plymouth Argyle.
