QPR join Bristol City in the race for Chelsea’s Dasilva
Championship clubs Bristol City and QPR are looking to sign 21-year-old full back Jay Dasilva from Chelsea this summer.
According to Football Insider, a Chelsea source has revealed that the two Championship clubs are eyeing up a move for the player after his impressive loan spell with Bristol City.
Dasilva featured 32 times for Bristol City last season as they narrowly missed out on the playoffs, and his form has caught the eye of both Championship sides once again.
As QPR look to rebuild following new manager Mark Warburton being announced and with left-back Jake Bidwell’s departure, the fullback has become a target.
QPR will look to sign the youngster on a loan deal which may suit Chelsea better following their transfer ban.
Meanwhile, Bristol City are in hope of signing the defender on a permanent basis from the Blues as they look to hope to battle for promotion again.
The England U21 star became a fans favourite at Ashton Gate and would be guaranteed regular football.
